Messy Church is spreading across Scandinavia!

We’re excited to announce that our Norwegian friends, who blessed us with their singing at MCIC22, have completed their pilot project for Messy Church and will be starting to promote, resource and train new Messy Church leaders in Norway.  Norwegian Mission Society and Norwegian Sunday School organisations are joining forces, to be the home of Messy Church in Norway, partnering alongside BRF ministries.

Hot on their heels, next-door-but-one neighbour, Finland, is also embarking on a Messy Church journey.  Aike and Richard Fisher (CEO BRF ministries) met online with representatives from Kansan Raamattuseura (Logos Ministries of Finland) and Meri Hannikainen, who has just published a Messy Church resource book in Finnish.

Aike writes, ‘We give thanks to God for this real encouragement for the global Messy Church movement, as these organisations take on the role of supporting the development of Messy Church in both Norway and Finland.  Let’s pray that God’s kingdom will abound through this Messy Ministry.’
