Aike Kennett-Brown
Aike is responsible for leading the BRF Messy Church team as they seek to support the Messy Church network both nationally and internationally. This includes writing, reflecting, speaking, developing resources and projects, so that the work of Messy Church can continue to transform lives.
Aike has been involved with Messy Church since 2010. Over a seven-year period, her Messy adventures include growing a team of Messy Young leaders, four weekend Messy Camps, taking Messy Church to the local Parksfest and hosting Messy Munch, an intergenerational small group. She joined the Diocese of Southwark in 2017, supporting parishes in their ministry with children, young people and families. This included hosting Messy Celebrations at Southwark Cathedral exploring Messy Communion and Baptism.
A former osteopath, Aike loves learning and has an MA in Mission (Cliff College 2019). She enjoys drama, dancing and walking the dog. She has developed an interest in growing food during the pandemic and she loves all things that involve snow. She gives thanks for her husband Neil and three teenagers, who have been a part of her Messy journey. She starting is a Messy Church Goes Wild! near the O2, Greenwich.

Jane is responsible for the growing task of providing quality training and connection for the Messy Church network. She works closely with Aike to plan for the future and will share responsibility for the many new developments within Messy Church. Jane’s role includes researching new training needs as circumstances change, as well as refreshing the content of existing training materials. Jane continues to oversee the volunteers of the Messy Church Support Teams.
She is a former IT professional but has been a local Messy Church leader for over ten years. Jane’s voluntary work includes being part of her church’s children, youth & families team and running the youth club.
Jane lives in Nottingham and is married to Andy. They have two sons. Aside from Messy Church, Jane loves football and when she’s not standing in the cold and wet watching her boys train and play, she enjoys supporting her home town team, Reading FC.

Sally works with Jane to oversee the volunteers of the Messy Church Support Teams, she is also responsible for looking after our social media and keeping our projects on track as well as helping to facilitate gathering both online and in building.
Sally comes from Walsall and has been on the leadership team of her Methodist Messy Church since it began in 2013. Before she joined BRF Sally worked for Network Rail project managing construction projects.
